WHO WE ARE

We are a 501 c(3) organization based in the United States that was initially founded to fund quality and equatable education and care of underprivileged children in Sierra Leone, W. Africa. Since 2014, we have provided over 400 annual scholarships to school aged children and supported their education with individualized education services tailored specifically to their needs. Our holistic approach to education and social service provision enables individuals, families, and community to break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential.

Based on the evolving needs of the communities we serve, our mission has also evolved to empowering individuals, families, and communities by providing resources and enriching educational opportunities that foster self-sufficiency, improve quality of life, and promote community development.

What began as a small local initiative has become a well respected outcome driven charity in Sierra Leone and the United States. With our personal approach, sponsors, donors, and volunteers are always welcome to contact our founder directly for information, questions, and updates. We also welcome anyone interested in traveling with us to meet the individuals, families, and communities we serve.

As an organization that runs on private donations, not only have we been a no overhead charity in the last six years, but more than 30% of our total annual funding comes directly from our Founder who strongly believes in leading by example. We also spend over 80 cents of every dollar you give on program activities and less than twenty cents on fund raising and administrative costs.

Our vision is to create an Africa where people can live enriching lives in suitable conditions and families have equal opportunities to THRIVE.
