Our Community Empowerment work focuses on creating pathways to opportunity, wellbeing, and sustainable growth through locally led solutions.

As part of this pillar, the Economic Empowerment Initiative through Creative Industries expands access to skills training, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and income-generating opportunities in Sierra Leone. Through creative fields such as fashion, textiles, design, and local production, the initiative supports individuals in building practical skills, confidence, and pathways to long-term economic stability.

Thread of Hope

Thread of Hope is one of the projects within this initiative, focused on tailoring and textile-based skill development and income generation.

This work is implemented in partnership with social enterprises, including Tesmaraneh, a locally led organization that provides on-the-ground training, production support, and mentorship—helping translate opportunity into real, sustainable impact within the community.
