Economic Empowerment Initiative through Creative Industries

As part of this work, the Economic Empowerment Initiative through Creative Industries expands access to skills training, entrepreneurship, workforce development, and income-generating opportunities in Sierra Leone. Through creative fields such as fashion, textiles, design, and local production, the initiative supports individuals in building practical skills, confidence, and pathways to long-term economic stability.

Thread of Hope

Thread of Hope is one of the projects within this initiative. Rooted in tailoring and textile production, it creates opportunities for participants to gain hands-on skills, earn income, and contribute to locally driven economic growth.

This work is implemented in partnership with Tesmaraneh, a locally led social enterprise that supports training, production, and mentorship on the ground.
